Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Bright Eyes & Sunflower website and the pieces you buy from us. We have tried to keep them plain and fair. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Who can buy

To place an order, you need to be able to enter a binding agreement. That generally means you are at least 18, or you have a parent or guardian's permission to buy.

About our handmade pieces

Every piece is designed and sewn by hand, in small batches. That is the heart of what we do, and it means no two pieces are exactly alike. When you buy from us, you are accepting these handmade characteristics:

• Small differences in color, size, shape, stitching, and pattern placement are normal. They are not flaws. They are what makes each piece one of a kind.
• Photos show the general look of a piece. The one you receive may vary slightly.
• Colors can appear different from screen to screen, depending on your device and lighting.
• Fabric is a natural material, so weave, texture, and where a print falls will vary between pieces.
• Measurements are approximate.
• Many pieces are made in limited batches and may not be restocked once they sell out.
• Please follow the care instructions. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by improper washing or handling.
• Dog bandanas are an accessory, not a safety or restraint device. Please supervise your pet while one is worn.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars, and any tax is added at checkout. Payments are handled securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card details. We may update prices and availability at any time.

Orders and cancellations

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we confirm or ship it, not simply when your card is charged. Because many pieces are one of a kind, we may sometimes need to refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item has already sold, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud. If that happens, we will refund you in full.

Shipping and returns

We currently ship within the United States only. Shipping times, returns, and exchanges are covered by our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

Our content and brand

The site and everything on it, including the text, the photographs, and the Bright Eyes & Sunflower name and marks, belong to us. Please do not copy or reuse them, especially our product photography, without our written permission.

Sharing and tagged photos

We love seeing our pieces out in the world. If you tag Bright Eyes & Sunflower or use our hashtag on social media, you give us permission to reshare your photo, with credit, on our own channels. Just let us know any time if you would prefer we did not.

Using the site

Please use the site honestly. Do not attempt to defraud us, break or scrape the site, or interfere with how it works for other people.

Disclaimer

The site and our pieces are provided as is, to the fullest extent allowed by law. The handmade variations described above are part of what you are buying, and are not defects.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bright Eyes & Sunflower is not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the piece in question. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Georgia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the date it last changed shown at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
