Frequently asked questions

A few things worth knowing before and after an order. For anything not covered here, the studio is an email away.

  • Why does each piece look a little different?

Everything is sewn by hand in small batches, so slight differences in color, size, shape, stitching, and pattern placement are normal. They are not flaws. They are what makes each piece one of a kind. Colors can also look a little different from one screen to the next.

  • How do sizes and measurements work?

Measurements are listed on each product page, and are approximate, since every piece is handmade. [PLACEHOLDER: note any size guide, for example "A size guide is linked on each product page."] For help choosing, email hello@brighteyesandsunflower.com.

  • How do I care for my piece?

Care depends on the fabric, so the safest guidance lives on the Materials & Care page, with anything specific noted on the product page. A little gentle handling keeps handmade pieces looking their best for years.

  • What are small batches and drops?

Work is released a batch at a time, rather than kept in endless stock. Each batch is limited, and some pieces are one of a kind. New batches are announced through the newsletter and on Instagram.

  • Will a sold-out piece come back?

Sometimes, but not always. Because batches are limited, a sold-out piece may not be restocked. The newsletter is the first place a return or a new batch is announced.

  • How do shipping and returns work?

Orders ship within the United States. Full timelines, return windows, and refund details are on the Shipping & Returns page.

  • Do you take custom or wholesale orders?

[PLACEHOLDER: custom and wholesale answer, for example "Custom requests are considered case by case, and wholesale inquiries are welcome by email."] Reach out at hello@brighteyesandsunflower.com.
